Moving forward, the Stache keeps things low in the front with a 100mm head tube (size 17.5 frame) holding a Manitou Magnum Pro fork in place. All this leaves no room for a front derailleur, so the Stache is 1x only. This gives extra strength and more clearance around the hefty 29x3.0 Bontrager Chupacabra tires that come stock on the bike. The pressfit-style BB92 bottom bracket shell and the first 4 inches of the left stay are forged as one piece. Even there, Trek has a trick up its sleeve. But only on the drive side-the left stay attaches in the traditional position. Yes, you read that right: an elevated chainstay. To get a rear center as short as was wanted, and to stay with a normally sized bottom bracket shell, Trek anchored the drive side chainstay above the bottom bracket. They hold the rear wheel solidly in place with a 12mm thru-axle. It also features a remarkably tight wheelbase, which is adjustable thanks to sliding dropouts that Trek calls Stranglehold. The bike is equipped and solid, ready for fun, with nothing on it that will need to be serviced or replaced any time soon.New from the ground up, the Stache frame takes full advantage of Boost 148, the wider spacing of the rear dropouts and realigning of the chainline that Trek and SRAM brought into play last summer. The fork has no scratches on the stanchions and does not leak air or fluids. I installed new seals and used genuine Fox parts and fluids. The fork was serviced by me (I am a part time bike shop mechanic) a year or so ago, but has had little use since then. I rode it until the summer of 2015 when I began riding the plus size wheels, so this frame has about 1.5 years of use. Trek said they had some heat treating issues with a few of the first Stache frames, so they replaced that frame in 2014. When I went to convert it to the 142 mm thru-axle, the axle would not line up. I originally ran it with the 135 mm QR axle until early 2014. The rear hub features the DT-Swiss star ratchet freehub, which is among the most reliable, and easy to maintain on the planet. Very easy to setup and maintain tubeless, which they are, with a fresh batch of sealant installed a week ago. ![]() There are no holes to seal, as the spoke bed is solid. This means that there are no rim strips or tape to be applied. The DT-Swiss M1800 Tubeless wheels are not just ‘tubeless ready’, they are ‘tubeless’. I would estimate the height range for this frame to be for folks that are in the 6’ 3” to 6’ 7” range. I am in the 6’ 4” to 6’ 5” range, and the frame fits me perfectly. The frame is an XXL size, but Trek made the seat tube 21.5” rather than 23” so they could offer a lower standover height. The frame is in excellent condition with no dings or dents, and only a few very minor scratches. Weight is in the 27 lb range the last time I weighed it (weighed with a dropper post and pedals). Weekend warrior types could race XC on this bike, but the true design intent for this bike is for getting rowdy out on the trails. However, I have since moved on to ‘plus’ size wheels and cannot justify keeping this. ![]() If you would have told me a year ago that I would be selling this bike, I would have laughed, and said “no way”. Presentation on theme: "Organic Shape Design."- Presentation transcript: ![]() Great liquor store, wide selection and very reasonable prices. ![]() Friday, Saturday if you show from 9-10pm its busy, but where isnt. Staff has been friendly all the times Ive been there. Pretty fair prices compared to places like Surdyks. Lots of cheap (but slightly different flavors) of booze. ![]() This is the cheapest licor store in the world!!!! I go once or twice a week and they always have different types of beer with excellent prices. Just wish they had a few more local beers, their Surly selection could use widening. I guess in a campus town area it doesnt matter, youre going to get paying customers regardless.Ĭheap prices, decent selection, For the area its in you cant beat it. Ive been here twice and both times the lady (owner?) has been extremely rude. Lines can be long on a Friday and Saturday evening but the staff there are super friendly and willing to help. Shame on you.įor a college-town liquor store, this place has a really nice selection. This is a Minnesota campus blocks away from where the Vikings played. Quality liquor store, but you should really have a Vikings light in the window and not a Packers light. Doubt if the staff could know the difference between a Sangiovese and a Riesling or care to. Place is a total rip off because its on Campus and they make you pay for the privilege (or lack of it). Also, lines are huge and liquor is overpriced. Had to jump through many hoops to get it back from these thieves. I came from out of state and he took my Id and told me they take all out of state ID. Have your ID and card ready, they always verify names match.Įxtremely rude owner. College stop, so parking and lines can get pretty hectic, but cashiers always keep it cruising fast. This place has great deals all the time.īest liquor prices Ive found, something is always on sale. They recently redid the whole building and its really nice now. The place gets so packed you will be waiting in line for an hour. Just dont go on a Friday or Saturday night. This is my favorite liquor store in the cities. Selection is decent (post-remodel), and prices are almost always lower than other liquor stores in the area. Friday and Saturday nights are busy the lines usually go quickly though. If youre looking for a good deal, this is the place. Very crowded on a Friday or Saturday night. Somewhat smallish selection, but its not bad by any means. They have a parking lot and most people who shop there dont drive so theres usually a spot. Good pricing, no mark up for being so close the the University. But for a campus liquor store, you cant really ask for more. Of course, it will be cheaper if you venture up to Roseville or away from campus. Sometimes gets incredibly busy, but thats just Friday and Saturday nights. However, they still manage to have reasonable prices and have pretty good selection for most liquors. Its a college liquor store, thats for sure.
